Charlie and the Biodiesel Factory: UK company makes biodiesel from chocolate at 60 percent lower than global soybean oil price | Biofuels Digest

Helge: Did you know that your car can travel with your candy? Stop eathing Fazerin Sininen or Marabou and use the chocolate as driving fuel. If you run out of diesel, please try chocolate. That's the message from Biofuel Digest:

Charlie and the Biodiesel Factory: UK company makes biodiesel from chocolate at 60 percent lower than global soybean oil price | Biofuels Digest: "In the UK, Ecotec is creating biodiesel from chocolate factory waste production. Ecotec management said that a pound of chocolate contains enough oil to power a car for 1.5 miles.

The biodiesel producer first separates the oil from the other chocolate ingredients, and then processes the oil into biodiesel at a production cost of $1.20 per gallon, or 60 percent less than the market price for soybean oil."
