Shipping bioenergy container plants to the world

E71_11.10.2009_Loviisa 026It will take years before the Finnish bioenergy industry is sending ship-loads of bioenergy plants to the world.

Smaller plants can be stuffed into a container and transported to the location with a truck from the harbor.

But there are a few obstacles in the way. Distributed energy has to become a mainstream thing and the production process has to be streamlined to ensure cost-effective production. This is not the case today.

European wide or global marketing and sales has to be established. We also need hyperlocal partners and CHP-entrepreneurs to run the plants.
