I guess this is Kuhmo, Finland

I’m working with ideas to remove DISTANCE from the formula of global collaboration.  It’s not an easy task while the feeling of distance is a mental thing.

We do still have the real-world limitation: driving by car to Kuhmo takes less than an hour, but to my home village Viirilä, in Southeastern Finland, seven to eight hours.

Seated in front of my computer, watching the new opportunities evolving, it’s easy to imagine a quick breakdown of distance, but the feeling of remoteness is still there. But we try to make a change in the project Wiirilä Werkossa Wiikoittain (Finnish language).
