A year ago at Ponsse

I visited the Finnish forestry machine company PONSSE a year ago. Never had time to listen or edit the podcasts I made. Ponsse is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of forest machines for the cut-to-length method, and its customer-oriented operations are still guided by the wishes and needs of forest machine entrepreneurs.

Ponsse was established in 1970 to meet forest machine entrepreneur Einari Vidgrén’s own demands: the machines built by others could not withstand the heavy-duty use, so he had to build his own. The FinnMETKO 2012 trade fair is held in Jämsä on August 30th - September 1st 2012. I had the opportunity to participate in this fair, but I’m too busy with other things until the end of August.
